Five generations are now working side by side, from the Silent Generation to Gen Z. Each brings distinct perspectives, values, and expectations. Without intentional leadership, those differences can create friction, disengagement, and, ultimately, talent loss. Multigenerational workplaces are now the norm, not the exception. According to Pew Research Center, today’s workforce spans five generations for the first time in modern history, increasing both the opportunity for innovation and the risk of misunderstanding.
